Enrollment Guideline for International Students 2024

1. Program Type
Bachelor、master and doctorate programs are open to international students in 2024. JUST offers programs in Chinese as well as in English.

2.2Programs delivered in Chinese
All degree specialties and disciplines of JUST, delivered in Chinese, are available to overseas applicants (HSK4 or above is a must).
NOTE：For running a bachelor program taught in English, the quota of students needs to be reached; if not, the students of that program should be ready to transfer to another one.
3. Duration of Application
April 15 2024 to Jun 15, 2024.
4. Qualification for Application
4.1A foreign passport holder, healthy, obedient to Chinese law and regulations of JUST.
4.2Applicants for the bachelor program should hold a high school diploma and must be 24 years old or below, master’s program applicants should hold a bachelor's degree and must be 30 years old or below; doctoral program applicants should hold a master's degree and should be under 45 years old.
4.3The requirement of language proficiency for applicants of English delivered programs is as follows: Bachelor- IBT 75 or IELTS 5.5, Master or above-IBT 80 or IELTS 6, but not required for native English speaker. Applicants of Chinese delivered programs must have recent HSK Level 4 certificate (within 2 Years).
5. Application Materials
5.1 Foreigner Physical Examination Form obtained within 60 days upon application date.
5.2 English or Chinese proficiency certificate.
5.3 Photocopy of passport (valid, general passport) and a photo of the size used for passport.
5.4 For undergraduate applicants, education level diploma, original or notarized copy (in English or Chinese); for applicants who are still fresh graduates, certificate of expected graduation should be provided. A-Level qualifications or equivalent is mandatory, depending on the country or region of the applicant.
5.5 For graduate applicants, the following academic materials are required: an original or notarized copy (in English or Chinese) of undergraduate transcriptand Bachelor Degree Certificate,two recommendation letters (in Chinese or English) from different referees at least titled as associate professor (or other equivalent titles).
5.6 For doctorate program applicants, the necessary academic materials are: an original or notarized copy (in English or Chinese) of graduate transcriptand Master Degree Certificate, two recommendation letters from two different professors, Published papers and research proposal for doctorate study in China.
5.6 Self-financed international students should name a trustee in China and provide a financial guarantee (International Students, if not supported by Jiangsu Provincial Government Scholarship, are recognized as self-financed full time graduate students).
6. Application Procedure
Applications to all programs should be ONLY done online through JUST “Online Application System”https://just.17gz.org/
STEP 1: Register your account and activate it.
STEP 2: Fill out the application and upload your authentic documents as required.
STEP 3: Submit the application and save your application number.
STEP 4: Check your admission status online regularly.
STEP 5: You will receive your Conditional Admission Notice through e-mail after successful evaluation.
STEP 6: Read your Admission Notice and pay the fees listed in the Admission Notice provided by the School of Overseas Education of JUST.
STEP 7: Upload the remittance receipt to JUST “Online Application System”.
STEP 8: Receive originals of Admission Notice and Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202) by post and via email respectively.
Please note that all schools, together with admission office will be involved in the evaluation and admission process, the result will ONLY be Shown via application portal, and inquiries for specific rejection details shall not be answered.
If we fail to acquire enough candidates for one specific major (Undergraduate only), the one who have been pre-admitted shall be informed and details shall be discussed via email.
Pre-admission shall go invalid if the payment cannot be made or receipt uploaded as per required.
7.Admission and Residence Permit
7.1 Decision of Admission will be made upon application materials and applicants’ performance in evaluation.
7.2 Documents of Admission will be sent before August 15, 2024. Posting of Admission Documents for students currently outside China will be communicated in due course.
7.3 For those who used to study in other Chinese universities, a statement of graduation or certificate from the current university should be provided.
7.4 You are kindly advised to obtain understanding and residence permit extension from your former study institutions so as to avoid any expiration, and please understand JUST will ONLY assist with residence permit during registration period.
8.Registration Period
New students are required to register ONLY during the registration period as the dorms shall be cleaned up during summer vacation.
In accordance with the International Student Admission Notice of JUST, Admitted Students should register at the school of Overseas Education of JUST, and follow the registration schedule as specified. Students who fail to register within 7 days after the deadline will be regarded as giving up the admission and fees shall be non-refundable.
9.Fees

NOTES:
1. Provincial Scholarship is opened according to the arrangement of Jiangsu Government , which can only be awarded after the application is approved, and is incompatible with other scholarships provided by JUST. One should apply online by his or her own.
2. Jasmine Excellence Scholarship is a government scholarship that only available for on-campus students. Please refer to the government website.
3. Provincial Full Scholarship includes Comprehensive Insurance Fee +Accommodation Fee+ Tuition +Living Allowance.
4. If you apply for a Provincial Scholarship, you also need to submit your application in JUST online application platform. Here are the Links for both platforms.

★5. Important information such as scholarship offer, payment instructions, visa application, etc., shall be included in the admission letter.Any imcomplete submission of materials shall result in rejection.It will take approximately 2 weeks for the result to come out.
