一、学科简介(Introduction)
控制科学与工程学科下设六个二级学科方向,包括“控制理论与控制工程”、“模式识别与智能系统”、“测量技术与自动化装备”,“船舶集成电力系统”,“系统工程”和“导航与制导”。研究方向包括船舶运动控制、船舶集成电力系统、船舶自动测试系统与装备,基于网络的远程控制、计算智能、智能信息分析、嵌入式系统应用,以及模式识别。本学科具备为开展教学和研究所需的先进装备和平台,并建立了多个学科实验室,其中包括船舶集成电力系统实验室,现代集成测试与控制实验室,智能信息分析开放实验室,以及模式识别实验室。
The Discipline of Control Science and Engineering provides the education of Master’s degree in five sub-disciplines, i.e. Control Theory & Control Engineering, Pattern Recognition & Smart Systems, Measurement Technology & Automation Equipment, Ship Integrated Power System, System Engineering, and Navigation Guidance & Control. Particularly, it species in the following fields, including Ship Movement Control, Ship Integrated Power Systems, Ship Automatic Testing Systems and Equipment, Network-based Remote Control, Computer Intelligence, Smart Information Analysis, Embedded System Application, and Pattern Recognition. This discipline has equipped with advanced equipment and platforms for both teaching and research. Many discipline laboratories have been built up. They are Ship Integrated Power System Lab, Modern Integrated Testing and Control Lab, Intelligent Information Analysis Open Lab, and Pattern Recognition Lab.
学科具有业务水平出众的教学与科研团队,其中包括11位教授和28位博士。学科团队承担了包括百余项省级以上课题,并获得多项省部级奖项。学科团队具有较高的学术研究水平及充足的研究资金,具备了接收国际留学生攻读硕士学位的条件。
An outstanding and well-organized academic research team has been established. They consist of eleven professors and twenty-eight doctors. They have been working on more than one hundred provincial research projects, receiving many provincial or ministerial awards. With high-level academic capability and suficient research funds, it has met the requirement of accepting oversea graduate students for Master’s Degree in this discipline.
二、培养目标(Program Objectives)
本学科遵循教育和人才成长规律,注重研究生科学精神与人文素质的培养。所培养的硕士研究生应具有良好的职业道德和敬业精神,具有科学严谨和求真务实的学习态度和工作作风;掌握控制科学与工程领域坚实的基础理论和系统的专门知识,具有从事科学研究和独立负担专门技术工作的能力;了解本学科相关领域的新技术和发展动态,能够创新性地解决本学科的学术或技术问题;能结合与本学科有关的实际问题进行创新研究,具有较强的自主学习、创新意识和工程实践能力;具有可持续发展意识和自主学习、终身学习的意识和能力。学生毕业后能够胜任研究机构、高等院校和产业部门有关方面的科研、工程开发及管理工作。
The discipline follows the law of education and talent growth, and pays attention to the cultivation of scientific spirit and humanistic quality. After graduated from university, the overseas students should have good professional ethics and professionalism, scientific, rigorous and pragmatic learning attitude and work style. They may master solid basic theories and systematic expertise in the field of Control Science and Engineering, and has the ability to engage in scientific research and undertake specialized technical work independently. Also, they can understand the new technologies and development trends in related fields of the discipline, and be able to solve the academic or technical problems of the discipline in an innovative way. The students can carry out innovative research in combination with the practical problems related to the discipline, and have a strong sense of independent learning, innovation and engineering practice. Moreover, the students have the sense of sustainable development, independent learning and lifelong learning. After graduated, students can be competent for the research, engineering development and management of research institutions, universities and industrial departments.

五、学制与学分(Schooling and Credits)
1. 学制(School System)
学制两年,其中,课程学习时间一般为1年,学位论文形成时间一般为1年,在籍年限累计不超过3年(从入学至毕业),在校攻读时间最短不得少于1年。
The length of schooling is two years, in which the course learning time is generally one year, and the dissertation formation time is generally one year. The accumulated years are not more than three years (from enrollment to graduation), and the minimum time of study in the University is not less than one year.
2. 学分(Credits)
在校期间应修满28学分,其中学位课不少于19学分,非学位课不少于9学分。
The oversea graduate students are required to obtain more than 28credits, including no less than 19credits for degree courses, and no less than 9 credits for non-degree courses.

七、科研要求与学位论文
(Scientific Research Requirements and Dissertation)
1. 科研要求(Scientific Research Requirements)
硕士留学生应按导师要求参加学术活动,同时鼓励发表学术研究论文。
The oversea graduate students shall attend the research activities according to the supervisor’s requirements. At the same time, the discipline encourages the publication of academic papers in related fields.
2. 学位论文(Dissertation)
论文可以是学术研究/技术报告,也可以是工程设计或案例分析报告。学位论文可以用英文或中文撰写,相应的提供中文或者英文摘要。
The thesis can be either academic research/technical report, or engineering design or case analysis report. The thesis should be written in either English or Chinese. For the former, the abstract should be written in Chinese; while for the latter, the abstract should be written in English.
八、学位授予(Degree Authorization)
硕士留学生在申请论文答辩前应符合学分要求。论文答辩通过后授予硕士学位和毕业证书。
The oversea graduate students should meet the credit requirement before applying for the thesis defense. The Master’s degree and the graduation certificate shall be granted after the successful thesis defense.
